KILL THE KING!
Kill The King is pure onslaught: punk, metal, and hard rock colliding in furious, hard-hitting riffs, crushing breakdowns, and a raw, one-take vocal.
From fast fashion empires to political stages, from boardrooms to billionaires, this is a call-out. These systems don’t protect us, they control us, tightening their grip while smiling to our faces.
Kill The King is for us, the everyday people and the gun is aimed straight at them. The power-hungry parasites pulling strings, feeding us into the machine while too many of us fall in line and turn blind eyes.
The truth is, they are not here for us. But still, we follow or we look away. We feed them and they grow swollen, gluttonous out of control leeches pushing past their limits while pushing us into danger and fear. The hands that claim to lift us are the same that act to crush us.
Enough is enough, Kill The King!
Square Wild are a hard hitting, genre-bending force of nature from Manchester.
Hard to pigeon hole but easy to love, Square Wild weave an intricate web of styles and influences to create something truly unique. On a bedrock of meaty and heavy riffs they layer funk, reggae, jazz, hard rock, ska, silliness and salacious grooves to great effect.
Suiting nearly any bill, they are a non-metal band who won Manchester's Metal to the Masses and played Bloodstock.
They are not quite prog and won Prog Magazines Best Unsigned Band of the year in the readers poll.
In the background of their busy gigging schedule, they have been brewing their debut album and are nearly ready to unleash it upon the world. Their ethos of creativity applies to everything they do and their recordings and videos are no exception, with everything being done by them in house. With plans to release the album mid 2025 they have been teasing fans with some well received singles “Pins and Mould” and “Sloth”.
